The City of Redwood City has received a grant from the California State Library to award scholarships to community members who want the opportunity to earn a high school diploma. Typically, tuition for the program is $1,095, but it is free for participants through the Redwood City Library.  

If you pick up your frozen vegetables at Walmart or Target, check your freezer. National Frozen Foods Corp., the company behind the brands Bountiful Harvest, First Street, and Great Value, has announced a recall of frozen green peas and mixed vegetables distributed between Sept. 2, 2015, through June 2, 2016, which may be contaminated by listeria.

Yacht Rock band Mustache Harbor will be rocking Music on the Square tonight from 6:00-8:00pm. If you aren’t familiar with them check out this video.
