With competition to get into a home on the Mid-Peninsula at an all time high, buyers are going to great lengths to get their offers accepted. Some people start to think if they can work with a dual agent, meaning the same agent represents both buyer and seller, that they might be able to get a leg up on the competition. You might know within 5 minutes of walking into a house whether or not you want to make an offer on it. But spending some more time in your potential new home, making multiple visits, and talking to your realtor and the neighbors can reveal if the house is really going to work for you long term.
